Work, Work, Work
Hope you like the new look of my blog....I had several intentions & ideas for designs and changes to the blog. But doing so would mean a massive overhaul of the entire thing and that would mean me perhaps losing my archives or other stuff. Plus, I am a lazy buffon, so what do you expect.
Suddenly I don't really know what I am supposed to do at the office. Am I supposed to do trainning and look after quality or am I supposed to continue with supervision work! It's funny, they kept telling me about my role shift from supervisor to quality. I have been in charge of trainning from day one of this call centre starting. It's not something that I have to start afresh. But my involvement will or rather it should increase tenfold. I would require time to arrange sessions & feedbacks and be able to gather material or create my own with help from several others. Other than the fact that I now have to create & maintain two reports going to two heads of departments, nothing much has changed. I am still stuck doing what I was doing plus a whole lot more. I am not sure how long I can keep up doing this, because it seems like I have two roles or two jobs (with the crummy pay of one job) and both seems to be clashing in that I don't have time to do both and I am not willing to strech beyond the 9 obligatory hours that I have to work. Certainly not on the lousy pay that I am getting.
I don't want to be taken advantage of; yet it seems that this is exactly what has been happening since January. People who have come in management at the fag end of last year are real delegators or job dispenserors. It's so easy to say what to do but you won't lift a finger to do anything yourself that mean squat to me! I think I have to be a little more careful and a little more wise in the choices that I make. Just because they have me doesn't mean that they can just use me and take me for granted.
