Go Ninja Go Ninja Go

What is green, has 8 hands, 8 legs, carries a shell on it's back, eats pizzas religiously and likes to fight the bad guys? Why it's the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I must say (much like Wayne's World) I only thought about the green dudes because yesterday, while sitting at home with nothing to do, I saw that the second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, the Secret of the Ooze, was being shown on cable in the afternoon. What better way to spend an otherwise dull day by reliving a small but cool part of your youth. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were a big part of my late teens and me & my cousins were huge fans of the turtles. Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo & Michaelangelo were heros to the bunch of us. We saw the three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, memorising the moves & dialogues and even became fans of the cartoon series that they showed a couple of years later. I think I was 14 or 15 when the movie came out. My dad was asking me if I knew which came out first - the comic, the movie or the cartoon. I wasn't sure. If any fellow Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan reads this and knows the answer, do tell.



As much as it makes me wanna laugh out loud (and I never do that for a Song for the day selection) I have to go with the below mentioned song as it was on the Soundtrack of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II : Secret of the Ooze movie. As much as Vanilla Ice is bitched about now, I think he was a huge thing back then. Now they just make fun of him. Oh well, I never understood rappers - they suck & they blow(that much I do know).
