Why does this happen to good people?
You know, sometime you have to wonder why shit happens? Why do some people seem to attract problems and complications in their life so easily but due to no fault of their own? And sometimes those people can be among the nicest, sweetest & fault free humans you can ever hope to meet in this pitiful shit of a planet we have no option but to call home.
This month I found myself asking the same question "Why do some people seem to attract problems and complications in their life so easily but due to no fault of their own"? This is in relation to a young girl of around 21 who works in my company's call centre (at the old place)...let's just call her A. Now, I don't get to see A since I have moved to the new office, but she is always on my mind.
A has already had a tough life due to the fact that her mom died when she was still a young girl and her father decided to remarry a widow, who has two daughter of her own. A's father worked in a differnt city than where his now large family lives (which also includes A's sister who is younger to her by 4 years). Hence he was not around much while his two daughter were growing up and does not know how his second wife and her side of the family have been treating her; which is quite shabbily to put it mildly. Every chance the step-mom and her two stupid daughters get theyr remind A that she should be very grateful that they took her in and were taking care of her. They denied her basic love & family togetherness and made her cry on several occassions. Now A, being the older decided that she would try to keep as much of this side of the family away from her kid sister, who only recently found out how her step mom & step sisters were treating A. Kid sister pretty much grew up thinking that this was a natural way of growing up in a family.
A's father is also quite ignorant of the problems at home as he is rarely there anyway. Also from whatever discription I have of him, he is a quite and reserved man but he would make an issue if he came to find out.
