Sweet
I worked hard on Saturday till about 2 pm, cause I was the only one at the office until 1 when I was joined by a superviser and then at 2 when the other one came. It was periods of hecticness and quiteness until then but I had plenty on my plate. I was doing one of my rare morning shifts, 8am to 5pm. I usually hate getting up early (5am) and dragging myself off to the bus-stand but I felt that it was worth it since I was off on Sunday. So I did it. By 2:30 I went to have lunch and then was so tired and sleepy that I tried to read some reports and files just to keep awake. Time dragged on till 5 pm sharp, when I left the office and sat in an internet cafe and went through my e-mails and stuff. Got some replies from friends I haven't heard from in a long while. Then just after 6pm I boarded a bus to Edapally and got down there next to the ATM, got some money out and went to my bar. Downed a few vodkas slashed generously with Seven Up and has some fried rice & beef. It was really worthy of praise and the downer was that the bar was kinda full and noisy. I went home not long after that. Sunday was spent listening to some cool songs and then on the net for most of the evening.
Oh, today is my sister Sherine's 36th birthday. I remember that my cousin Manoj & I used to 'dedicate' songs to our sisters - like "You Ain't Nothing But A Hound dog" or the literal meaning of "She Drives Me Crazy" by the Fine Young Cannibals. So Sherine, Happy Birthday you old HAG!! Yuck yuck.
